I work as a library systems administrator at a federal library and museum. I support researchers and library and museum staff navigate both the back end and front end of various library systems.
I really like the balance of getting into the weeds on the back end and running training sessions for library staff.
I've come to learn to walk through life with open hands. Palm-up hands signify a posture of listening rather than ordering; receiving rather than taking; uncertainty rather than certainty.
One of the beauties of life is recording it. Marking the checkpoints in life is both a reflective and hopeful endeavor.
